We pulled this for the hand-inked cityscape alone — a sweeping scene of the Basilica of San Juan de los Lagos rendered in black ink brushwork over a shimmering gold-and-silver ground, with palm fronds, cobblestone streets, and shop signs for "El Capri" and "El Porvenir" worked into the border. This is the real thing: a mid-century Mexican tourist circle skirt, the kind made for visitors to bring home a wearable postcard, full sweep intact, tie waist, no zipper needed. The metallic ombré shading between silver and gold across the ink is original to the print, not damage — it's what gave these skirts their glow under a dance-hall light.
